I'm a mouse duhh.

I am not even sure if I will dress up or not this year since I don't have any Halloween date parties or college house parties to go to. Wahhh getting old is lame.  If I really end up needing a costume I can always go Karen style and put on some ears and be a mouse.

One thing I have always wanted to do is just dress up and pass out candy at home.  I know I sound super lame exciting but I have never just passed out candy at home.  Since I have stopped trick or treating we have always lived in the country and no one stops by our house.

The only time I have really passed out candy I was like 4 and waiting on my parents and sister to get ready to leave and go trick or treating when some early trickortreaters stopped by and I just happend to be eating on a box of Whoppers and dumped a few in their bags.  That counts right?

Maybe when I become a real grownup and have a house of my own in town I can just pass out candy on random nights to make up for it.  Not creepy at all.

For now a little trip down memory lane, two of my favorite past costumes...

My Dearest Friday...

Photobucket
Dear Friday: Thank you for coming so quickly this week!  Dear Cold Fall Weather:  I am soo happy for your arrival!  Bring on the riding boots and leggings.  Dear Blogger: Why aren't you showing my pictures I post in my blogs? I LOVE reading blogs with no pictures...said no one ever.  Dear Birthday: You will be here in no time and I am getting way too old although I still feel 18 most of the time.  Dear T-Swift: Thanks for the great new tunes, your CD has been on repeat in my car since it came out.  Do people still listen to CD's?  Dear gas prices:  You just keep on dropping I like that, but I'm onto you Obama.  No fooling this girl.  Dear bank account: Quit being an asshole and increase already.

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22.

Tuesday Randoms

I am loving T-Swift's new Album RED. I usually buy her albums and listen to them non stop, but don't expect to see me in line for a concert or anything the only one I fight crowds for is my main man George.

Speaking of crowds this past weekend I went back to my college town for Homecoming, just America's Greatest Homecoming (no big deal).  That place was packed.  The streets for Homecoming Walkaround were ridiculous and the lines for the bars forget that.  I refuse to stand in line to enter a sweatbox packed with people just to get my drank on.  Fortunately I took Friday off from work so I could head down Thursday and go out with all my friends before most of the crowd came into town.
(our fishbowl we consumed at dinner)
Sometimes I forget I'm not 21 anymore and if I stay up until 5 in the morning I will require to stay in bed until 3:30 the next day.  I had a great weekend though I miss everyone and everything from college so much.
I even miss pomping.  Pomping is where you take tiny tissue paper and shove it through tiny chicken wire holes using a pencil and glue. Millions of pomps and hours later a house deck is created.  All of the greek houses pair up in twos, planning starts the year before and each member is assigned about 20 hours of pomping a week from the time school starts up until the day before Homecoming Walkarounds.  The day before is all night pomp, no one sleeps you just finish pomping and putting up the house deck for the competition.
That is all made out of tiny holes of tissue paper.
Part of the Phi Mu/Pike deck.

And OSU won! Go Pokes! :)

My recap on lastnight's dedate is short and sweet....I have been pronouncing Pakistan wrong my entire life.  The correct pronunciation is Pock-a-stan according to Barrack and he would know he is middle eastern.

Sweet Seventeen.

(Forgot to hit publish on yesterdays post...)

When I was 17...

1. When you were 17, tell us what kind of car you drove, where you worked, and what you were usually up to on the weekends?
When I was 17, I drove a Jaguar X-type sport, and I worked during the summers as a lifeguard.  On the weekends I usually cheered on Friday nights and the rest of the weekend I hung out with friends, shopping going to the movies  ect. I didn't drink or go to parties in highschool so it stayed pretty PG.

2. Show us  pictures of you when you were 17 {roughly}.

(My pictures options were limited because of the computer I was using.)
Before Cheer State

3. When you were 17, tell us what you wanted to be when you "grew up."
When I was 17 I wanted to be an orthodontist or an actress when I "grew up".  Funny how things change.

4. When you were 17, tell us the kind of boys that you dated. Did you have a type? Do you have a relationship you remember well? Tell us about it.
I dated the same guy for most of highschool, I would say he was smart, preppy and athletic we actually broke up when I was 17 he was leaving for college in another state and I was still in highschool.

5. When you were 17, tell us where you pictured your life 10 years from then. Did it turn out the way you expected it to?
Yes and no.  It hasn't been 10 years yet. haha but I did picture myself a college graduate with a career that I loved.  I am a graduate but I haven't really found that career yet.  Many many things have changed since I was 17, things I never would have thought about but it is life and just makes me the person I am now.

Listen Friday...

Dear Coworker: Don't talk to me you are super annoying.  When you talk and I don't respond that means go away. Dear Tsunami: I love you and all because where I come from rain is a good thing, but do you have to do it when I have to get up so early and go to work?  I want to enjoy you from my comfy bed. Dear God: Thank you for watching over me and getting me to work safely even though I couldn't see the road due to the down pour of rain.  Oh and Thanks for the rain too.  Dear coffee: Thanks for helping to make me bearable this morning. Dear New Orleans: I'm excited to see you soon, please be kind to me.  Dear Paul Ryan: You are adorable.  I think I am in love.  You remind me of Matthew Morrison and Doug from the Hangover = Winning. Thanks for dominating in the debate last night you made me proud.  Dear Friday: I LOVEEE YOUUU!!

My Boyfriends back...

Bass, Chuck Bass
That's right minions, Chuck Bass comes back into my life tonight.
It's been hard being without him, but the wait is over and hopefully this season won't disappoint. I can't believe it is almost over.  I waited what seemed like forever for a movie or tv series to be made after reading all the books, only to be disappointed after the show aired that it was very different from the books and didn't watch for quite while. Finally G convinced me and I have been obsessed since.
Gossip Girl
I'm hoping for more Chuck and Blair time this season and less Serena BS.  I am all about Blair.  I haven't been able to stand that Serena bish since the books.  Dorota, shes my girl too.

Paybacks to come...

AMEN!
I'm ending my anti-social streak tonight.  It's just so easy to stay home and do nothing on the weekends anymore after working all week and the 45min drive from work to home. Post grad life is way more exciting than college life.  Said no one ever.  Well tonight I am going to the rodeo and Jake Owen concert, and Saturday I am attending a Murder Mystery party.  Look at me being all social and shit again.
Jake Owen
I can't stand those stick figure decals people put on their car windows so everyone knows how many people are in their family and how many cats and dogs they have.  Well I just noticed when I was getting something out of my car the other day, my window was sporting THIS!!!!
A single stick girl complete with Mickey ears and a Mickey shirt!
What can I say I'm riding solo and I love Disney.  That will get me a man. I'm just upset they didn't include 10 cats as well.

G and her BF just returned from Disney World last week and think they are clever and funny.  Cool you freaks.  Not funny.  Okay maybe kinda, but not as funny as your payback will be. :)

You Go Glen CoCo!

Happy National Mean Girls Day!
Mean Girls is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time.
I'm not even wearing pink today. Who am I?  I'm not proud of this y'all.

I was headed to dinner once with Man Child when Mama C called, she was all descreet sounding and said "Can you talk or are you busy?" umm I can talk..  "now you don't have to answer right now you can call me later if it is embarssing, but who/what is Glen CoCo?!" "Is it something sexual or what?!" My response: "bahahahaha Really mom?!" She had been seeing stuff all over Pinterest about this Glen CoCo but had no idea who or what it was. Bless her heart.

Some of my Mean Girl Favs.
Mean Girls!! Mean Girls!! Mean Girls!!

SHE DOESN'T EVEN GO HERE
Sometimes I use to shout this during chapter when someone was speaking.

It's here...

Happy October!
I love Fall!  I'm not a huge Halloween fan because I don't enjoy scary things or watch horror movies.  I do love fall weather, football, tailgating, pumpkin patches, riding boots and everything else that goes along with fall.
I have found on Pinterest some of the cutest decorating ideas and clothes for Fall.  Some of my favorites.

winter way to wear colored skinnies
I love colored denim and adding riding boots makes them perfect for Fall.
easy fall outfit

Love this!!!
Such a cute pumpkin!

Front Porch Fall / Halloween - necessity!!!

Love!
These nails would be perfect for OSU or Halloween.

I know most people rave about pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks, I don't usually go to Starbucks since they don't support the troops but I have been seeing everything pumpkin flavored even vodka.

Another favorite thing about fall for me is some of my favorite shows are starting again!  I'm obsessed with Gossip Girl.  Last night I started watching Breaking Amish and I think I am addicted, it was very interesting. I'm a sucker for TLC shows.  I feel bad for these people knowing they can never just go home because they have been shunned by their families for exploring outside of the Amish culture.  One girl on the show told about how the Amish get all of their teeth pulled out with pliers once they get all of their adult teeth and have dentures put in, this is just to save money on dental bills. umm...OUCH!  That just makes me cringe.

What are some of y'alls favorite things about fall?
