S's Friday Confessionals...

My Friday Confessionals...

1) I still love the Rebecca Black song Friday Friday....and I don't care who knows it.

2) I need to get this one off my chest...G, I stopped at McDonalds and got a bacon and cheese biscuit no egg on my way to work  and I LOVED every bite of it.  Thats what happens when you don't make my breakfast smoothie for me in the morning. Wheww, I feel much better now.

4) I can't wait to go to Tar-jhayy. B.H. called me and told me he saw floppy hats there. Although I'm sure it was probably a fisherman bucket hat or something and not really anything like the floppy hat I am wanting, but sweet brother bear tries to be helpful. Bless his heart. We shall see.

5) I'm becoming a nervous wreck waiting to hear about my second round of interviews. #pleaseGod
 (Are hashtags acceptable while blogging?)

6) I think I have made up my mind to go back blonde for Summer.

7) I have a Sperry addiction and I feel like it would be okay to buy every pair offline because its FREE SHIPPING.  Thats totes worth it right?
Sperry Top-sider Women's Bahama Boat Shoe

8) I'm sorry for rambling on this morning, I have had 2 cups of coffee.  And by sorry I mean you're welcome. :)
never enough

9)  I really do get stronger on my second drink.  and wittier. and a better singer. and sometimes friendlier or meaner.... Is meaner a word? That looks funny.

10) These confessions could go on all day, I should stop now...

Shocking the world one commitment at a time...

I have known for a long time that I was a commitment-phobe and that everyone who knows me even a little knows I am incapable of taking any relationship seriously,.  Even though I knew this, I never knew the amount of shock and concern for my sanity that would occur when I finally decided that I would jump off a cliff make a commitment to date someone exclusively for more than 5 minutes.

A is one of the best guys I know and is completely willing to put up with the fact that I can be completely emotionless difficult. So, after a few weeks of spending more time with him than I would typically allow, I decided it was time to be on girlfriend status before I push him to the limit and he gets sick of my shit.
Since, apparently, nothing is real life until it is facebook official I agreed to this:

Within hours these started rolling in:

I will not share them all because I don’t think it’s appropriate for anyone to know how heartless others really think I am.

So what?  I'm a firm believer in doing whoever whatever the hell you want while you are in your 20s.  A is pretty great though, so much to my surprise, it doesn't feel like a sacrifice.

Guilty in here....

(I googled a picture for this and this came up. haha)

So you know that annoying word verification that you have to type in order to leave a comment on some people's blogs well  I think we may have been guilty of that and I didn't even know it! All this time I roll my eyes and probably say really mean sweet things when trying to leave a comment, but feel like I am going through airport security just to be like "oh hey I like your shit."  I even sometimes thought oh look at them thinking all like I'm so important I need this to verify my comments.   Well I was reading something about things new bloggers don't know...oh hey thats me.   Numero Uno was TURN OFF the verification code in order to leave a comment. Wait what? You mean if I didn't turn it off or even know about it then it must be on there?!?!  Ooopsie. :) Well I don't know if it was before or not, but if it was sorry for being a hypocrite and if it wasn't then well I get annoyed when I leave you some love on your blog, but it should not be on there now.

It's Link Up Time....

Its Ok Thursdays

Its okay that G weighs less than me now and I look like I am with child. I am not.  Skinny betch.

That I have no idea what to get Papa C for Father's Day.  The man is the hardest to buy for. He is very particular about his things. He doesn't wear polos, ties, shorts so those easy ideas are out.  He is so hardworking he doesn't really do hobbies so thats out. He NEVER asks for anything. His respose for gift ideas would be "world peace, so get me a bazooka."  So unless anyone can point me in the direction of a bazooka store I have no idea what to get him.
AMEN!
That I always make plans for Friday night but when Friday night rolls around I am so tired from working all week I end up staying in and passed out by 10:30.

To be addicted to buying stuff off Amazon.

To feel like sometimes once people reach like 1,000000 followers they really start slacking on blogging. Like oh hey thanks for playing, see ya. rude.
engagement ring engagement ring engagement ring
That everytime I see someone else got engaged or married on facebook I gag a little. I mean, am so happy for them.

To think Target can be a little too proud of their clothes sometimes. Hello, remember who you were before you started getting all cute and popular.
Finally! Goodbye chipped nails!
That I usually paint my nails once a day and everytime I do Mama C always says "Are you painting your nails AGAIN?"  What?! I can't just go around all skanky-like with a chipped nail.

Thursday Link up...

It's OK...
To only want to eat the food that is bad for you, but after eating complain about how much weight you have gained.
To be super excited about having 39 followers! Woo hoo!  Thanks for following and reading the shit we post. :)

To not like Vera Bradley.  Sorry just never jumped on that train.

To be disappointed in the Rue La La Lilly sale.  Oh well better for my bank account.
That we suck at blogging lately.

To get tired of reading the same old posts about fashion. I love clothes and I love finding cute stuff on blogs, but sometimes I just want to read about stuff going on in peoples lives.  Sorry not hating, I do love OOTD posts though!

To be really excited I finally got the links taken out of my new Invicta watch and can wear it now and I never want to take it off!

That my cattle is like having a bunch of family pets.

That I have crazy road rage all the time sometimes.

That I just almost deleted this post because I am already bored with it....

On that note the answers to yesterdays link up Two Truths and a Lie...

Numero uno was actually the lie.  I have never met my beloved Georgie. :(

#2 is true we have never left the USA and are perfectly fine with that although I would love to go to Atlantis soon!

#3 is also true we are related to both the Hatfield and McCoy families.  Our great grandmother was a McCoy.  Which makes it crazy they just did a show about them. I have not gotten to watch yet, but I hear it is pretty good.

Two Truths and a Lie Tuesday

Linking up today because sometimes lying can be fun...
1) S has met George Strait 3 times.
2) We have never been out of the USA.
3) We are related to both the Hatfield & McCoy families.

Can you guess which is the lie?

Making Mama Cray Cray...

Let's just start off with a lil’ tidbit about how Mama C. can be a little Cray.  As I'm sure you have gathered G and I are both twenty-something college grads who still live with our parents.  I promise we’re not too weird, we just enjoy living with our parents and don't hate not paying bills.  Well anywho, Mama C. is a worrier.
Anytime we go out she still likes a text update of when we will be headed home just in case of an emergency and would like to be notified when we make it home.  Usually it goes something like this:  Mama C passed out, go into her bedroom (whisper) "Mom"..."Mom"...shake her a little (shoots up in bed in panic) "what, what, what's wrong?!?" "Just letting you know we’re home."
If we do not let her know she says she stays up all night worrying and can't sleep, yet somehow can be so hard to wake when we arrive home?
Well anyway G. was out Saturday night and it was storming, apparently Mama C. could not reach her through calls or texts and assumed the worst and proceeded with sending her worried texts stating she would be notifying the Sheriffs Dept. because she is worried sick and since G. is not answering she must be face down in a ditch somewhere.  This continues until 4 am when Mama C finally barges into my room and asks, "Have you talked to G.? I'm worried sick and haven't slept all night!!"  Me (still asleep:) "uhh yeah she is fine, she is staying at her friends."
I find out the next morning from G the texts she recieved from Mama C. consisted of this:
I literally could not stop laughing.
Oh Mama, no matter how old we get she will never stop worrying about us when we are out.  My first thought was, how exactly would that conversation have went had she called the sheriffs dept.?

"Umm excuse me my twenty something daughter went out tonight and I don't know where she is."-MC
"Umm ma'am, it is Saturday night and well people do go out, I'm sure she is fine bars don't close until 2."-Dispatcher

Kiss My Southern Sass....

TWO posts in one day?! Crazy I know, but I just had to post about this blog with super cute merch, since I'm a cotton whore after all and love my tees and tanks.  We will be placing our orders very soon. :)

I want this one...
And this one! Such a hard decision, but you can never have too much red, white and blue.

And this koozie is adorable.
(sorry the pictures are showing up blurry)

Also we are in need of a new blog design, well I just can't bring myself to pay for a design because part of my degree is web design.  Until I can get time to create a new design, does anyone have any suggestions for place to get cute Free Blog Designs?

Best news ever...

...I just bought Justin Bieber tickets…it’s ok to be extremely jealous of me.

S. had a minor meltdown last night.  Baby Huey ate one of her pizza lunchables.  As you’ve seen, this illicits anger from S. like you’ve never seen before.

I just finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey after S. harassed me to do so. Before reading, S. told me that she thought Ian Somerhalder would be the perfect Christian Grey.

I instantly disagreed. I love Ian BUT I don’t see him playing Fifty at all. I am thinking more like Alex Pettyfer or Chris Pine.

S. and I were discussing the new guy in my life, I don’t remember exactly what I told her but she replied with, “If not I would literally slap your face. Hard. Very Hard.”

Rather than argue with her this e-mail exchange took place:

I know because it's easy to remember...if you say literally it means hey im doing this in real life in person. not just figuratively with words.  See I could be an English teacher.

oh yeah and your is showing possession and you're is you are. there. BOOM. got it.

I am always on S and B.H. for their grammar.  Finally, my lessons have paid off. I guess the next thing we need to work on is capitalization and complete sentences.

I am only one person.
